Meritas is devoted solely to creating and marketing socially responsible investments. It does so for individuals under the brand name Meritas Mutual Funds and also has an institutional division for corporations, endowments, foundations, pension plans and other large investors. Committed to all three aspects of socially responsible investing, Meritas uses positive and negative screening guidelines, shareholder activism and community development investments to help investors align their portfolio with their social, ethical, governance and environmental concerns.

Meritas is a joint venture of Mennonite Savings and Credit Union (Ontario) Inc., Mennonite Mutual Aid of Indiana and Mennonite Foundation of Canada located in Winnipeg, Manitoba.  We think that our ownership and foundation makes us unique within the investment industry and within the SRI industry.  Many investors and advisors appreciate our unique ownership structure and understand from it that we are committed to SRI because we believe in it where they feel other companies who offer SRI products may only do so due to market demand.  We hope that you will come to see and appreciate our passion and vision for the incredible positive outcomes that can be achieved when SRI is pursued from a position of belief and not just a perceived quest to gain market share.
